A Hawker 800 has been acquired by San Diego’s premier on-demand air charter service Schubach Aviation.
With room to move around, the Hawker 800 is best suited for such destinations as New York, Miami, Chicago, and Cancun, or passengers looking to take short-range flights in a spacious cabin. The aircraft comes specially equipped with blended winglets that decrease fuel burn, allow the aircraft to fly at higher altitudes, and thus travel farther.
Featuring the largest cabin in the mid-size jet category, the Hawker 800 can comfortably accommodate up to eight passengers. Fresh paint, a newly-designed interior, leather seats, an enclosed lavatory, entertainment center, flight phone and galley with a refreshment center and mini-bar highlight Schubach Aviation’s newest aircraft.
The plane is expected to be available for charter by September. Schubach Aviation is also anticipating the addition of another Challenger to its fleet by late summer.
The Hawker 800 joins a fleet of 13 private, luxury aircraft chartered by Schubach Aviation. The company also operates a wide-bodied Bombardier Challenger 601, another Hawker 800, two Hawker Fanjets, a Lear 55, a Citation SII, two Citation CJ1’s, a Citation ISP, a King Air 350, two King Air 200’s and a King Air 90.
