A graduate of Utah Valley University, Kim first made her mark in luxury hospitality prior to applying the invaluable experience to the private aviation industry. She joined Schubach Aviation in 2005, was appointed to President in 2018 by retired company namesake and founder Henry Schubach, and acquired the business in January 2020. As CEO, Kim drives Schubach Aviation’s overall vision and corporate values. Under her leadership, Schubach Aviation has instituted a “safety first” organizational culture, earning safety recognition exceeding the required FAA regulations (including IS-BAO Sage 3, Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) and ARG/US Platinum). She oversees marketing, sales, and business development initiatives with a strategic focus on future growth, maintaining a values-driven company culture, and delivering immersive aviation experiences for clients interested in customizable adventures. In 2018, Kim launched Schubach Aviation’s successful Elevated Excursions program, followed in 2020 by the company’s VIP ACCESS program, a curated collection of one-of-a-kind travel opportunities developed exclusively with the company’s world-class partners that has been featured in Forbes Lifestyle, Robb Report, and CNN Travel. In 2023, she established a partnership with Waverly restaurant to debut a Schubach Aviation-exclusive elevated in-flight dine and drink menu by Michelin-recognized Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski.
Kim champions Schubach Aviation’s enduring commitment to philanthropy and in 2022 introduced a new philanthropic initiative, Miles that Matter. It encompasses the company’s annual philanthropic contributions, donations, and events and will benefit San Diego-based Monarch School, Shelter to Soldier, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and Curebound.
Kim was recently named one of San Diego Magazine’s 2023 “Women of the Year,” has been honored by Visit CA as a “California Woman Making [Her] Mark,” in addition to being recognized as one of San Diego’s 500 most influential business leaders by the San Diego Business Journal. In 2022, she joined the Board of Directors of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), the leading national trade association representing nearly 2,300 aviation businesses.

Trey Munday joined the Schubach Aviation team in May 2022, to oversee daily operations with an eye toward the company’s long-term goals and vision, leveraging an extensive background in supporting high-growth companies prepare to scale. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from San Diego State University and spent 15 years in the banking industry, in both securities trading and business lending. In 2010, he founded a CFO consulting firm which served clients in industries ranging from eCommerce to ecological consulting to software development.

Geoff Savage brings 30+ years of private aviation experience to his role at Schubach Aviation, as Vice President of Charter Sales. Growing up in Ohio, the “birthplace of aviation,” he had an avid interest in aircraft from a young age, flying in his uncle’s small, single engine aircraft. He decided to pursue the interest as a career, earning a BS in Aviation Management from Ohio State University. While completing his studies he worked as a line technician at the OSU Airport, which led to his first job at Executive Jet Aviation – a company that would eventually rebrand as NetJets. Seven years later, he set his eyes on the West Coast where he spent two decades in both charter sales and flight operations roles for the likes of Virgin Group, Sun Air Jets, and Jet Edge (acquired by VistaJet). At Schubach Aviation, Geoff oversees charter sales, interacting directly with our clients, and day-to-day flight operations, as well as working as part of the management team to support the company’s long term growth.
Geoff is a commercial-rated pilot. He resides in Simi Valley, California and enjoys spending time with his family and 5 year-old granddaughter.

After three years, she moved on to Jet Edge, which was acquired by VistaJet in 2022, where as a Vice President of Sales she focused on expanding the NYC Metro and Southern California markets for both VistaJet and its sister company XOJet. At Schubach Aviation, Trish is focused on strategic growth – from the company’s charter fleet to developing tools and programs to better serve our clients.

For over 30 years Aldon has served as an indispensable resource for aircraft owners and is highly regarded for his extensive knowledge, meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to maintaining aircraft at only the highest standard. His team provides maintenance tracking, logbook oversight and precise record keeping brining considerable benefit to aircraft owners in maintaining the assets value over time. Aldon is the owner of Hangar One Aircraft Maintenance, the only full-service, FAA approved, Part 142 repair station based at Palomar Airport. He oversees a growing staff of dedicated airplane mechanics, ensuring that Schubach’s fleet aircraft receive immediate, real time attention limiting maintenance related aircraft down time.
