The second Hawker in the Schubach Aviation fleet, the Hawker 900XP is favored for its extra-spacious cabin that gives the impression and comfort of a much larger jet. Combined with its outstanding range and fuel economy, it’s an excellent choice for non-stop coast-to-coast travel.
Background
The Hawker 900XP represents the final evolution of the lineage of jets that began with the pioneering de Havilland DH.125, developed by the British aircraft manufacturer de Havilland Aircraft Company. Introduced in 1962, the DH.125 was one of the very first purpose-built business jets and remained in continuous production (as the Hawker) until 2012.
Capability
The powerful combination of two high-performing Honeywell TFE731-50R turbofan engines and advanced composite winglets allows the Hawker 900XP to climb at a rate of approximately 3,400 ft/minute, to reach cruising altitude in just 25 minutes (at maximum weight). The aircraft’s strong climb performance minimizes fuel burn, resulting in increased fuel efficiency and an extended 200 nautical mile range.
Performance
The Hawker 900XP’s range is well-suited to nonstop coast-to-coast missions, including in-demand routes between Los Angeles and New York, Miami to New York and Washington D.C. to San Francisco. Its powerful thrust and improved wing design allows the private jet to perform exceptionally well in “hot and high” conditions, common at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport and Mexico City’s Toluca International Airport (TLC).

Cabin
Renowned for its generous cabin, the mid-sized Hawker 900XP’s distinct square-oval fuselage design allows for an especially wide cross section that gives the impression of a much larger jet and enhances passenger comfort on longer trips. Its convenient 50 cubic foot luggage compartment is accessed internally.
The Hawker 900XP’s excellent fuel efficiency extends its range in favorable conditions to 2,900 nautical miles or approximately six hours.
The Hawker 900XP cruises at approximately 490 miles per hour.
The Hawker 900XP can comfortably accommodate as many as eight passengers.
On average, the Hawker 900XP’s internally accessible 50 cubic foot luggage compartment can hold up to four standard-sized golf bags or five large suitcases.
The Hawker 900XP features a four-place club seat section, a three-person divan, one forward-facing seat and an additional optional lavatory seat. Appointments include an expanded forward galley and aft enclosed lavatory.
The Hawker 900XP features a range of entertainment and connectivity options, including WiFi.
