The highest level operator rating is awarded only to organizations that have proven industry best practices for their flight operations, placing Schubach Aviation in the upper five percent of over 1,000 U.S. based charter operators. 

The internationally-recognized standard of excellence developed by Aviation Research Group United States (ARGUS) International, consists of a independent, third-party audit that takes an in-depth look into the quality of documented processes, in addition to the strength of the safety management system (SMS) implemented by an operator vis-à-vis its industry peers. To receive a “platinum” rating Schubach Aviation was examined over several days by a team of onsite auditors, accompanied by months of comprehensive documentation submissions before the final rating was issued. 

For 30 years, Schubach Aviation has maintained a flawless safety record far exceeding the industry standards. In addition to its ARGUS Platinum rating, we hold the IS-BAO Stage 3 (the final and highest level assessment) and WYVERN Wingman (highest level rating) certifications, and were the first in San Diego to adopt and implement the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP).   These external validations of our core commitment to going Above & Beyond in safe operations delivers peace of mind to our valued customers.
