With an uncompromising commitment to the safety of our clients, Schubach Aviation is pleased to announce it has completed the rigorous (and most advanced) International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 3 certification. The international safety endorsement is the culmination of an intensive four-year long audit process. Schubach Aviation joins an elite group of charter operators dedicated to exceeding best safety practices— less than 3% of operators nationwide have achieved the IS-BAO Stage 3 designation.

In addition, this year, Schubach Aviation was the first operator in San Diego County to adopt and institute the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), a voluntary reporting program in which operators (and their employees) collaborate with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to enhance flight safety.

As our flawless 30 year operating record indicates, your safety is paramount in our operations. Safety management is ingrained in our company culture, with a dedicated Director of Safety, fully instituted Safety Management System (SMS) and team members who demonstrate their commitment to meeting and exceeding industry best practices on a daily basis in all aspects of flight operations.

To earn the final Stage 3 certification, a third-party auditor evaluated and scrutinized Schubach Aviation’s operations and Safety Management System (SMS), which comprises safety-related policies, processes and procedures. The three-stage recommended code of best practices, developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations, is the worldwide standard for safety and efficiency in business aviation operations and exceeds the required Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. Schubach Aviation achieved Stage 1 certification in 2016, and later Stage 2 certification in 2018.
