Giving back to our local community is a longstanding and innate part of Schubach Aviation’s company culture. Each year, our signature donation-per-mile program contributes one-cent for each charter mile flown to a local non-profit. For the seventh annual giving campaign we are pleased to partner with San Diego’s Monarch School, a K-12 school designed exclusively to educate and support youth experiencing homelessness. 

The only school of its kind in the country, Monarch provides students with a safe, stable learning environment where they can persevere through the trauma of homelessness that has affected them and their success in education. Through an innovative ‘whole student’ approach to learning, students are provided the resources they need to build productive and healthy lives such as basic needs, mental and physical health, and family support. Beyond academics, the Monarch School’s programs and services address the development of social, emotional, and essential life skills.

Our year-long partnership is projected to raise more than $12,000 to support student education, academic tutoring, services, and more. Monarch School will further garner support through increased visibility to our generous client community, in addition to access to special event and fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
