Above & Beyond

Schubach Aviation is one of the nation’s premier private jet charter operators, with offices in New York City and Southern California. For more than 30 years, we’ve been a trusted partner to travelers coast-to-coast and across the globe, offering bespoke aircraft management, aircraft acquisition services, and thoughtfully tailored itineraries. Our unwavering commitment to integrity, safety, and personalized client care continues to set us apart, consistently exceeding the industry standard.

Founded in 1992 in Southern California by professional pilot Henry Schubach, the company began with a single Cheyenne II aircraft and a clear mission: to deliver an unparalleled aviation experience rooted in genuine relationships and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence. Though our fleet and services have grown, the heart of Schubach Aviation will always be guided by Henry’s values and a people-first approach to business.

Today, under the leadership of owner and CEO Kimberly Herrell, a 19-year team member and respected aviation industry veteran, Schubach Aviation has entered an exciting new chapter. As we continue to evolve and expand, our purpose to provide seamless, elevated travel experiences while keeping integrity, connection, and care at the core of everything we do remains unchanged.

At Schubach, he has made philanthropy a principal tenet. Henry’s abiding love of dogs has prompted initiatives that benefit local animal welfare organizations, including the Helen Woodward Animal Center and Shelter to Soldier. By way of Schubach’s charitable giving he’s also inspired clients to give back.

Since taking his first flying lesson in 1974, Henry has accrued more than 20,000 flight hours. He no longer flies professionally, but enjoyed captaining our Challengers and Gulfstream IV. His favorite flight destination is Hawaii.
